Week of  May 5th: HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!

  • Please get your summer survey's in.... Novice, Blue or Advanced Blue swimmers we need to know your plans for the summer:

    A. We will be swimming in morning at Roeland Park
    B.  We will be swimming in the evening at a Blue Valley pool.
    C.  We will NOT be swimming with the Blazers this summer.
     

  • Early Bird Meet - May 9-11- Central High School
    Friday 800 Free: Warm up 4:40pm; Meet Start 6:00pm
    Saturday/Sunday:
        12&Under: Warm up 7:00am; Meet Start 9:00am
        13&Over: Warm up 12:10pm; Meet Start 2:15pm

  • CATHERINE FOX COME BACK!
    It is true.... our one and only... Catherine Fox will be coming out of retirement!  Many of you remember Cat Foxy as our Blazer Olympian from 1996.  She won two Gold Medals  in the 4x100 Free Relay and 4x100 Medley Relay;  21-time  All-American; NCAA Champion 9 times and former American Record holder in the 100m Back.  And now she is back again, looking more leaner and meaner than ever!  She will be able to compete January 1, 2009.  Click Here, to take a look at her 'out of the box' training style in San Francisco.
     
  • MAX JABEN MAKES IT TO THE OLYMPICS!

    Blazer Alumni, MAX JABEN, is our newest Olympian. Max qualified for the Israeli Olympic Team last week in the 200 free 1:49.45! Max placed 11th in the event at the European Championships in the Netherlands.
    Max is a Junior at University of Missouri and is currently taking the year off to pursue his Olympic dream. Max has been a Blazer since age 7, setting many records along the way. He was the youngest male qualifier at the 2000 USA Olympic Trials.
    Way to go MAX! We are proud of you.
